"I have been to this place several times and i think their ramen is arguably one of the best in Melaka. Their signature dish is the thick broth ramen, with a variety of flavours to choose. Their Mapo tofu rice and Japanese curry rice are also quite tasty. Business is usually very brisk during the weekends so a prior booking will help. The staff are very friendly and service is prompt. The ambience is warm and welcoming, typical of a Japanese restaurant. Parking is ample except during weekends"

"Been a regular at Daruma Syokudo Melaka for a while now, and they've always been great. Recently tried their new weekday lunch menu - seriously good value! Had the udon with fried fish and veggies set, and it was super tasty and really affordable( I added an onsen egg to level up the taste ).Also tried the unagi donabe, which was delicious too. If you're in the area and craving Japanese food, definitely give their lunch sets a go!"

"The ramen is fantastic, especially the Spicy and Black Garlic and will definitely try the other flavours the next visit. The Hamburg Set and Chicken Teriyaki Set are always spot on, and the Chicken Nanban is simply the best in town."

"It's been 5 years since my last visit when they first open. Staff like not attentive and felt cold. It's still a place to get cheap ramen. Not sure if the taste has already dwindled since they first open, or I've tasted better ramen at other places. Signature Daruma Tonkotsu Ramen @ Shoyu Tonkotsu 7/10 Chicken Nanban 8/10 (still maintained) Potato Salad 7/10"

"First time visit here and get to know this restaurant through web. We saw Google reviewer much recommend the Ramen and Chicken Namban. Hence, we order Chashu Ramen, Chicken Nanban and Chashu Mazesoba. Portion for the Ramen and Chicken Nanban is big, but the Chashu Mazesoba in contra. However, all meal we order tasted delicious. Really recommend the Chicken Nanban. Service by the crew also satisfied. This restaurant located nearby the well-known milk tea street. Will visit again next time."

"Today back here after 1years plus, the aroma of the ramen broth is great but I decided to try Chicken nanban Set. The crispy texture plus the sauce is just nice! The portion is just nice for 1 person and price is reasonable. Highly recommend!"
